This training initiative aimed to equip a multidisciplinary team of software engineers with the skills to integrate AI technologies into their development practices. The program covered predictive and generative AI, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Model Context Protocol (MCP). Developers learned to use AI tools like VSCode and GitHub Copilot Chat for automating code explanation, documentation, UML diagram creation, and unit test generation. The goal was to enhance innovation and streamline processes for deploying automation components and control devices efficiently across multiple locations.
